A year and a half ago, I was still working at the job I had for fifteen years. Behind my work building, there’s a post office—and a guy I used to be fond of worked there.
Twelve years ago, not long after my 20-year relationship ended, I finally got the courage to ask him out. I invited him to a Fourth of July party. He gently turned me down, saying he was seeing someone. I remember thinking, “Oh man, that took so much courage to ask.”
Fast forward to today—we reconnected. And now? He treats me like a queen. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.
Stay positive, and good things will come your way. God hears you.
I never imagined life could feel this good again. I’ve always believed you reap what you sow, and I truly feel like God is showing me how beautiful life can be. I’m so grateful and humble.
I’m completely, madly, head-over-heels in love.
